The big test, drive my supra over 700 miles across france to my parents house, then to Euro Disney and home again, clocking up well over 2000 miles in one week. First task finding my way, driving in convoy with some friends. So I fitted the supra with and integrated satnav system, well I taped it under the clocks with masking tape. The first leg of the trip was to Rouen where we stayed ad a B&B hotel, leaving the Supra in the car park outside. In the morning I found my supra had found a friend, a Grey UK H reg Mk3 Supra Turbo. (H51 GJU) If this was you? please feel free to get in touch. ROUEN HAS A NICE TUNNEL AS YOU COME IN OFF THE MOTORWAY, SUPRA SOUNDS GOOD! The supra was more than happy doing the miles and was a joy to drive on the empty French roads, just a us and alot of bugs! Once at my parents time to relax for a few days and have a glass or two of wine until we set off for Euro Disney! Again the roads where clear until we got to the Paris equivalent of the M25, this was hot with no air-con, something else to add to the needs to be fixed list. On the whole trip there where no breakdowns though I had to check the oil up every 1000 miles or so due to the seals on the cam covers bedding in, all in all a fun holiday! |
