During the engine Rebuild (by TOYOTA in Doncaster), I got them to give me the cam covers so I could clean them up, as they where looking a bit sorry to say the least.

I striped them back to the bare ally (long job but worth it in the end)

Then sprayed them with an etch primer, then a enamal silver.

I then painted the stripes and letters by hand using enamal paint another long job ... once that was done they looked like new
